AW Properties Global is a woman-owned small business and a WOSB and WBENC-certified women's business enterprise, registered to sell real estate and equipment for federal agencies and their prime contractors.
The Department of Energy and the National Nuclear Security Administration needed to liquidate unused nuclear-grade equipment from the canceled MOX project. Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, the prime contractor, ran a competition among auction houses for the most qualified small business; AW Properties Global and AuctionWorks were awarded the contract. Six timed online auctions sold 893 lots for $2,684,714.89, drawing 317 unique bidders from 20 countries.
